Cholera Victims

According to the Heath Department from Haiti cholera made over 1.250 victims so far.

The number of suffering persons that have been admitted in the hospital has reached 20.687 and over 52.715 cases of contamination were registered. These numbers are from November 17 according to some sources.

A little over half Cholera cases are situated in the North region where the epidemic started.  The number of deceased people has reached 64 in the capital Port-au-Prince where numerous refugee camps are situated after the earthquake from January 12. Around 20 children with ages below 5 have died so far.

The number of infection centers is increasing and according to some European specialists the numbers given so far are just a part of what is actual happening there.
