Most of you out there heard of poor Meredith, a 20 year old brit student who went abroad, in Italy, with the ERASMUS programme, and ended up with her throat slit open in her own home by her own friends and roommate.
The murder of Meredith Kercher was discovered on 2 November 2007 in Perugia, Italy. The twenty-one year-old British student was found in her bedroom at the cottage that she shared with other students, her windpipe-throat partially slashed.
At that time, the police arrested four suspects, including Kercher’s American flatmate, Amanda Knox. One man was later released without charges. The remaining three suspects were held in custody in Perugia for one year prior to facing trial charged with murder, sexual assault and theft.[1] One of them, Rudy Hermann Guede, was convicted of murder on 28 October 2008 in a “fast-track” trial and sentenced to 30 years in prison. The trial of the remaining two, Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito, started on January 16, 2009.
Another person implicated in the case is Rudy Hermann Guede. His account of the evening was that he and the victim had consensual sex, after which he left the room to use the toilet where he listened to music on his iPod and thus did not hear the killer enter the house. He did, however, hear Kercher scream, and emerged to see the murderer, an Italian man whom he didn’t know, stabbing Kercher. As the man escaped, he said “You’re in trouble, you black b*****d” after which Guede claims to have been so frightened that he fled the scene and made his way to Germany. The Investigators stated that Guede’s version of events was “a highly improbable fantasy.”
Now, Amanda, named recently over the web “Foxy Knoxy”, was also a student there only that she hails from the USA. Both she and ther boyfriend (or ex-boyfriends) have declared themselves as not guilty, blaming it on “recreative drugs ” and saying that they remember little. What’s new about the case is that fingerprints action is being taken just kn0w, which I find quite peculiar. In any case, we will keep you posted in the following days on this case.
Amanda Knox, in her own words: “I don’t remember if Meredith called out or if I heard thuds because I was upset, but I can imagine what was happening…I’m not sure wether Raffaele was there too that evening but I do remember waking up at his house in his bed and that in the morning I went back to where I lived, where I found the door open.”

I’m sure that “Foxy Knoxy” is accustomed to her good looks getting her off from any brushes she may have gotten into up until now, but it looks like she really stepped into it here. I think her “better living through chemistry” approach to life has finally been her undoing.
I and my family were stationed in Europe during the cold war days, and the common term Europeans had for people like Knoxy was “ugly American”. I have been following this case from its beginning (I have a grand-daughter going to school in Spain) and in every picture I have seen of Knoxy, she had that same cocky “I’m an American and I’m too pretty to go to prison” grin on her face. Guilty or not, given her attitude and bizarre behaviour it’s easy to see how she has earned the title of “Ugly American”.
That’s really an awful thing to say. I would love to see how you would handle the situation if you were in her shoes. People react to these things in different ways AND just because she isn’t photographed crying all the time doesn’t mean she hasn’t been. You’re also naive to believe that European media would want to be fair to an American girl given America and Americans have had a flawed reputation there for some time now. Clearly you have never experienced exchanges with Europeans as an American girl in her twenties like I have and the “cold war days” weren’t recent enough to give you credibility or expertise. You should really ask yourself who is really being the “ignorant” and “Ugly American” and then go grab yourself a mirror. Idiot.
For anyone who is interested in the facts behind the media spin, and who cares to learn more about the victim of this terrible murder – Meredith Kercher – there is an excellent discussion board

These online resources are not for profit. Anyone can read and/or participate and people from around the world do. They have followed this case since November 2007, and are in no way related to Amanda Knox. Nor are they her friends.
To the person who signed the post with Idiot.
Your are a prime example for a person that might be considered by some as an Ugly American.
Given the evidence so far, it would be impossible for Amanda Knox to be found not guilty.
My take on this case is that the jury will find Amanda Knox unanimously Guilty.

I totally agree.
