Jeremy Wade Caught A 50kg Tiger-Fish: Largest Piranha
It’s not a crocodile, if this was your 1st idea. This tiger-fish is known as the “Giant piranha” and it’s the largest catch in the world until now.
Jeremy Wade, the producer of “Water Monsters”, has caught many fishes in his life, some of them having incredible sizes, but this last capture beats them all. The professional fisherman caught the biggest tiger-fish while he was on an expedition on the Congo River.
Wade waited eight days for the fish and when he managed to catch it he declared that it was one of the happiest days of his life. He released the fish back into the water after some pictures were made.
The bait was a 4kg fish and a wire that can support up to 100kg of weight. The monster had 50kg in weight, 1,5m in length and no less than 32 fangs. This fish is one of the most terrifying from fresh waters and is a larger version of the well known piranha.
