Volcanic Eruption
A volcanic eruption happened in Indonesia. Thousands of people fled from this natural disaster.
Meanwhile rescue teams were trying desperately to save some people that were hit a tsunami at hundreds of km away, in the south of Sumatra. The volcano was calm for a few days, since the eruption that happened this Tuesday. This was why no one expected another one.
Although authorities warned the people to not return to the area because it was not safe thousands of people didn’t listen. Some of them died in this 2nd eruption.
“My farm was destroyed by the volcano. I left there my animals, some cows and goats. I have to give them some grass or they will die.”, said a peasant that lives only a few km away from the volcano summit.
