Over 40% of the Americans believe that Jesus Christ will come back on Earth by 2050, say a poll quoted by The Daily Telegraph. The poll from Pew Research Center For The People amd The Press/Smithsonian Magazine show that the Americans remain very optimistic regarding their future.
So, by the half of the century, 71% of the Americans believe that the cancer will be cured, 66% say that the bionic arms and legs will work better than the real ones and 81% of them say that, by 2050, the computers will be amble to communicate with peoples.
Though, the Americans fear of a major energetic crisis an global worming, according to the quoted poll. Over half of them, 58% respectively, fear of a new world war in the next 40 years, and 53% expect a nuclear terrorist attack in The United States.

The poll shows an optimism drop compared with 1999, when 81% of the Americans said they are optimistic regarding their and their families’ personal lives. Now the percent is only of 64.
1,546 adult Americans answered the questions of the poll in April 2010. The margin of error is +/- 3%.
