General Motors has announced it’s plans to close about 1,100 dealerships and they are currently waiting for the letters to find out if they remain in business or not. According to GM, the dealers are expecting to get the letters, becuase they are only closing the ones that didn’t met the minimum sales volume and profitability.

“The not knowing is what makes everybody nervous. You just don’t know where you stand,” said Russ Shelton, owner of Shelton Pontiac Buick GMC in Rochester Hills.

GM did not want to disclose the list of dealerships they’s going to close, but we might find out soon, after todays’ letters.

General Motors’ decision has been announced right after Chrysler announced 789 dealerships they’re going to close.
