Dick Cheney voices support speech for Obama

Former Vice President Dick Cheney will hold a speech right after President Barack Obama’s. It seems this an answer to Obama’s activity, policy and activism. The speech also focuses on national-security policies, fighting terrorism and general support from all U.S. citizens.

Richard Cheney will make his national-security speech at the conservative American Enterprise Institute immediately following President
Obama’s 10:10 am ET speech at the National Archives.

Richard Bruce “Dick” Cheney (born January 30, 1941) served as the 46th Vice President of the United States from 2001 to 2009 in the administration of George W. Bush. We don’t know for sure why people, even in the high political spheres keep calling him dully “Dick”, but we think it’s not a pun because he seems a nice fellow. Cheney joined the presidential campaign of George W. Bush in 2000, who selected him as his running mate. After becoming Vice President, Cheney remained a very public and controversial figure. Cheney is a member of the United Methodist Church. Cheney was portrayed by Richard Dreyfuss in the 2008 film W.

Regarding the much-awaited speech (both Obama’s and Dick Cheney’s I mean), Cheney said:  “When President Obama makes wise decisions,” He added that : “he (Obama) deserves our support. When he mischaracterizes the decisions we made, he deserves an answer.”

President Barack Omana - the orator

President Barack Omana - the orator

“Right now there is considerable debate in this city about the measures our administration took to defend the American people — and especially about our methods of gathering intelligence. What I want to do today is set forth the strategic thinking that drove our policies..”

Cheney informed that he will only voice his thoughts and start the speech after Obama is done. And after the applause are over of course, as we already know only too well Obama is quite the orator. Not to say that the war on terror is usually a subject all Americans and upholders of freedom find of interest.
