Big problems for a French-based tennis player as he tested positive at a drug test. Richard Gasquet is a young and very talented tennis player and he tested positive for cocaine at a drug test taken at a tournament in Key Biscayne, Florida. Gasquet was very surprised to hear that the tested positive, and he said that he is clearly innocent. He didn’t wish to comment a lot on the story as he decided to gather enough evidence to help him prove that he didn’t take any drugs.
“I am gathering together proof of my innocence and I will choose an appropriate moment to express myself,” said Richard Gasquet.
Richard Gasquet is currently on the 23rd place in the ATP rankings, and he could be banned for two years. Gasquet has been announced that his “B” sample from the Key Biscayne tournament confirmed the result of the “A” sample from that same tournament.
Gasquet wasn’t the only one who was surprised by the result – the French tennis federation officials said that the results are “very surprising” but they will not take any actions against the tennis player.
