The rumors about Floyd Mayweather Jr were true as he has officially announced that he is going back to the boxing ring. This is the second time he reconsiders retirement. Now he will fight against Juan Manuel Marquez on July 18 in a non-title welterweight fight. Mayweather Jr is still undefeated from 39 matches, actually, he won all of his professional fights with 25 of them being KOs.

“I’m ready to return to boxing and give people another dose of the Mayweather experience. When it comes to fight time, I’ll be ready physically and mentally. I just want to be the best that I can be. I left on top and I came back on top. I’m here to fight and reclaim what is mine,” said Mayweather.

Th 32-year-old boxer is a five-division world champion, and his last fight was against Ricky Hatton in December 2007. Floyd Mayweather Jr is considered as the best pound-per-pound boxer in the world and he will fight against Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand Arena on July 18.

“I want to thank Mayweather for giving me the opportunity to fight with him. To be the best fighter you need the best fight, and this fight is for who is the best number one right now,” said Marquez.

“When I made my decision to retire last year, I felt like it was time for me to go as I had been boxing my whole life and felt like I had done all that I could do. But after I had time to rest, enjoy life with my family and friends, I started to miss the competition and my fans,” added Mayweather Jr.

It is going to be a very interesting fight and I am anxiously waiting for it. I remind you that another interesting fight took place last night when Pacquiao knocked-out Ricky Hatton in the second round.
