After his amazing performance winning the Players Championship, Henrik Stenson’s signature move has become one of the most popular amongst golf players. The Swede grabs the wrong end of the club, near the face and takes a half-swing followed by a full swing. He said that this pre-shot routine enabled him to win TPC and allows him to see the path of the swing without the resistance of a club head. From there on there is just a simple formality. Stenson’s partner, Ben Crane said that if this is the secret behind playing incredible golf, then everybody should start doing it.
Henrik Stenson amazed everyone Sunday when he showed his incredible talent and won the tournament with an amazing ease. He won the Players with a round of 66 which included 12 pars and 6 birdies. He earned the respect of all the players out there and showed once more that golf is an amazing game.
When all the eyes were on Alex Cejka and Tiger Woods, Stenson came from the behind and took the trophy for himself. After the game, the TPC winner explained that not even Woods can win every week and that although playing golf may seem easy on television, it’s not and sometimes may be one of the hardest games out there.
Stenson won $1.71 million and moved to No.5 in the world ranking.
