iPhone is the most loved and enjoyed smartphone in the world according to a report by JD Power and Associates. This is the second time after the prize won last year, and it seems like Apple’s iPhone has some satisfied customers. Th JD Power customer satisfaction survey surprisingly features LG in second place, and Samsung (not surprising at all) in third place. Among the losers you can find RIM’s BlackBerry smartphones which is very surprising and Motorola which is not surprising.
The Apple iPhone won the JD Power Award with a 791 score, followed by LG with 772, Samsung with 759, HTC with 744, RIM with 739, and Motorola with 659. The score is calculated like this: ease of operation (30%), physical design (30%), features (20%), and battery life (20%).
The advantage of the iPhone was that the wireless service provider didn’t matter as I’m sure that Apple’s smartphone was at the bottom. Meanwhile, Apple is preparing for a conference on June 9 where it is said that the company will unveil some new and interesting devices, and in the same time the iPhone OS 3.0 will become available for all users.
