There is nothing wrong with being naked in public, said a Japanese TV star after he was arrested by the police. Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, 34 was found very drunk and naked in a Tokyo park while he was screaming. Because he was disturbing the public peace in the morning, he was arrested by the police, however, it seems like it was a good thing for the Japanese man who received a warm sympathy from the audience after he apologized for his behavior.
The police decided not to press charges on Tsuyoshi Kusanagi after his house was searched probably for drugs. The Japanese people said that he has been treated unfairly and one fan even threatened to attack the Akasaka police department if Kusanagi the police doesn’t release him.
The problem was that Kusanagi resisted arrest, however, his words: “What’s wrong with being naked?” were welcomed by the Japanese people and now an online retailer called ClubT is selling T-shirts with Kusanagi’s slogan.
They are definitely selling,” said Nanako Shibuya, spokeswoman for ClubT.
Everything turned out well for Tsuyoshi Kusanagiand as he has received a lot of attention and sympathy for the public. I wonder if he will tell this story to his nephews.
