January 4, 1 p.m., a blue Volvo just passes a speed camera at 103 mph on the A14 in Newmarket, Suffolk. The car was drove by Tom Riall, a divisional chief executive at Serco, a speed camera firm.
The Serco’s home Affairs division head was caught by one of his own traps, as Serco installed over over 4,500 Gasto speed cameras in Britain so far.
The senior executive admited that he was driving way over the speed limit, as he was over 100 mph on a 70 mph limit dual carriageway. The Sudbury Magistrates’ Court banned Riall from driving for six months.
