Carrie vs Alysha
Miss Rhode Island, Alysha Castonguay, is taking Carrie’s part. She said that Carrie is not fairly seen at the time being, and that people should stop harrassing her for the much-discussed picutres. Now, I am not sure if this has anything to do with what I am writting below, but thissudden comrad-ship is a bit queer. Miss California Carrie Prejean may loose her title, the Miss USA pageant administration can undo her winning of the Calif Crown, due to some semi-nude pictures of her being posted on a website. On the other hand, Miss Rhode Island and former New England Patriots cheerleader, has a whole set of semi-nude shots that every guy with a few bucks in his pocket can see, as they appear in this months Maxim Magazine. (read below if you are eager to see these pictures). The difference, officially, is that Castonguay posed for the magazine before her pageant competition and had them approved by officials.
Carrie Prejean Miss
Probably this was a smart move, because she is fine and soud safe right not while beauty queen Prejean is probably cursing every hour that the internet was invented (or just frowning, as she is a self-declared Christian). Trying to see things out of the box however, if Carrie is loosing her title this is probably because (even if not a direct cause) she did not publicly agree with gay marriage. So the matter is more moral than anything else, in which case what is so terrible about some half-nude pic that is obviously taken by a non-profesional, compared to suggestive set with more than two girls for everyone to see – and quite frankly it’s not exactly artistic, probabil just well payed. Another thing one should take into account is that Carrie denied the existence of any nudes with her. Be it just a white lie or a proof of hypocrisy, I leave up to you.
