Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe

The 1^st car that belonged to singer John Lennon, a Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe made in 1965 was auctioned last night. The car is valued at $220.000.

Normally this model is worth between $60.000 and $109.000 according to CNN.

The car was put in shape sometime in the middle of the 90’s and will be sold by the auction house Bonhams from Paris on February 5^th.

Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe is the 1^st car held by the ex Beatles singer after he manage to take his driver license in 1965.

His 1^st vehicle should be worth more than his last, a Chrysler Town & Country jeep from 1972, which was sold for $5.500 dollars.

Etna

The Etna volcano made another eruption Wednesday night but no one’s life was put in danger.

The Italian authorities didn’t launch any warning considering that the eruption isn’t dangerous because the lava levels haven’t pass the normal standards. Also although beautiful the same authorities warn anyone to go near the eruption.

Earth

Over 400 million people will live on the Asian continent and around 100 million on the European one. In only a few months the people who are living on Earth will reach 700 million soles.

The event is more alarming if we think the gap between 600 and 700 million has been filled very quickly.

If we think a little, our specie Homo sapiens has waited between 100.000 and 200.000 years to reach 100 million while the modern human marked this number in only 12 years.

Another clue is the fact that between the last Ice Age and the 1700 the human population has doubled every 16-17 centuries. The Earth population has increased in number from 230 million to 700 million since 1941.

MiG 21

India will produce the 1^st home made plane, plane that will replace the old MiG 21 ones.

The plane has 13 tones, was name Tejas, and the project for it started during 1985. The 1^st flight with it was made on January 4^th 2001 according to RIA Novosti.

The Indian Air Forces made a command of 200 Tejas planes with only one pilot and 20 planes with a second co-pilot place. “This is an historic moment for Air Forces and the science community. India has joined the countries that have the ability to construct air platforms from zero” Indian authorities said.

The 1^st 40 planes will be equipped with General Electric F404 motors. At the same time Indian engineers are researching with the French experts a native motor with a gas turbine named Kaveri. Russia began testing the Kaveri motor in 2010.

Invisible Tank

The British scientists are planning to create a super weapon: invisible tanks that could be used on the battle field in five years.

The tanks will benefit from the new technology “e-camouflage”, that generates a new kind of pain, an electronically one, that will give the vehicles the color of the surrounding area according to The Telegraph.

The high tech devices will have high quality sensors and will project the back image on the surface of the tank. In Helmand (Afghanistan) all devices have the color of the sand and this is not helping because the rebels are usually hiding in the green area of the country.

Schwarzenegger Twitter Post

After retiring on Monday from his function as California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger has invited the Russian leader Dmitri Medvedev at a sky trip, on a Twitter post, according to RIA Novosti.

“Thank you! @MedvedevRussiaE. I hope that you will have a great year and I can’t wait to see you again-maybe skiing? ”-said the Terminator movie star on a Twitter post. Medvedev wished him luck: “”@Schwarzenegger, I wish you luck in this new step of your life. There will be even greater opportunities” the Russian leader said on Twitter.

Medvedev meted Schwarzenegger this summer when the ex governor arranged a trip to Silicon Valley. The American governor also came in Russia this autumn in front of a business delegation.

Entire Buildings Destroyed By The 8,8 Earthquake

An earthquake that specialist say had 7.1 on the Richter scale happened not long time ago near the Chile coasts.

To be more exact it happened at 17:20, local time. The epicenter was at 95 km Nord-west of Temuco at 12 km deep underground according to US Geological Survey. At this time there is no info if any damages or casualties happened anywhere.

Many fear a tsunami but specialist say that it’s too early to predict anything and if this would happen they will alert the population in time.

This earthquake comes after the big one that happened in February 2010 when Chile was hit by another earthquake that had 8.8 on the Richter scale. That one sadly produced a tsunami and number of deaths reached 800 with damages of hundreds of million dollars.

International Space Station

The astronauts from the International Space Station have a message for all the people on Earth.

The space astronauts that are living on the International Space Station have sent a special Christmas message to their families and to all the people on Earth.

“Congratulations from the International Space Station and from the crew on the 26 mission. Now we are traveling around the word at 17,500 miles a hour at around 200 miles high from our beautiful planet. We all should be grateful for it! We would like to wish all on Earth happy holydays and Merry Christmas”.
