Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe

The 1^st car that belonged to singer John Lennon, a Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe made in 1965 was auctioned last night. The car is valued at $220.000.

Normally this model is worth between $60.000 and $109.000 according to CNN.

The car was put in shape sometime in the middle of the 90’s and will be sold by the auction house Bonhams from Paris on February 5^th.

Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe is the 1^st car held by the ex Beatles singer after he manage to take his driver license in 1965.

His 1^st vehicle should be worth more than his last, a Chrysler Town & Country jeep from 1972, which was sold for $5.500 dollars.

Frozen Lake

The Hyde Park from central London hosted this year like in the last 146 the traditional 100 meter race in his lake waters. This happens every year at Christmas.

The bad side is the fact that this year the temperature was very low and the hosts were forced to cancel the race because of the frozen water.

But although this happened 40 of the 100 participants didn’t let the temperature win and entered the water in a place where there was no ice. Keep in mind that the water temperature was around 4 degrees Celsius.

Some of the people said that this type of swim keeps them in shape and many believe that this kind of water makes the body stronger and even helps cure some dizzies.

Bear Invention

A special invention is making some fuss between the bear drinkers in US.

The people that designed it could not believe the success their invention had and so they posted a movie of it on YouTube. To be more exact their invention puts bear upside down.

The machinery uses glasses that have a hole on their bottom and so a very interesting refilling process begins. According to people this way of filling glasses reduces the time you have to wait before you can drink the liquid and at the same time it’s very fun to do so.

I am sure it will not replace the traditional way of drinking bear but at the same time it will catch in time that’s for sure. Here is a quick video of this invention.

Blue Santa Clause

The archeologist discovered that Akron, Ohio, USA is the original North Pole where the 1^st Santa was made.

Under some trash the archeologist found the oldest Santa Clause figurine. Dressed in blue the toy was found where once was the “The American Marble & Toy Manufacturing Company”, the oldest toy series factory in US. Their 1^st toy was made in 1884.

Brian Graham is the person that found the Santa and the interesting thing about it is the fact that it’s dressed in blue.

“Is a Santa Claus of wishes because you hold him in your hands and your wish will come true for Christmas”, said the archeologist.

The old factory is the birth place of modern toy industry. The manual made toys were too expensive at that time and so only the rich families could afford them.

Schindler's List- The Movie

A judge from New York decided to allow a dealer to sell what he thinks is an original example of Schindler’s List.

The document that has 13 pages is declared to be one of the original examples of the list compiled by the German Oskar Schindler, list that managed to save over 1000 Jews in the Nazi period.

A decision of the Supreme Court gave a decision to not allow selling the list for less than 2 million $. An air of Schindler tried to block the selling offering 1.3 million $.

Schindler’s effort to save lives was the main subject of Steven Spielberg’s movie “Schindler’s List”, movie that won an Oscar in 1993 and that was based on Thomas Keneally’s book “Schindler’s Arc”

Exuma Green Yacht

At the end of 2010 an eco yacht was launched, a yacht that was build to make as little pollution as possible.

It happens that once every few years a very new reshaped yacht is launched on the sea. This year “Exuma” was the main attraction, a yacht that has a motor that uses very little fuel to run and emits very little pollution in the atmosphere according to CNN.

In 2010 “Exuma” won the   ”Green Yacht of the Year” prize in Monaco for three main reasons: durability, efficiency and power.

The yacht was designed for expeditions. The owner wished that his machinery be equipped so that it will be able to go everywhere in the world and at the same time have very little impact on Mother Nature.

The Strange Creature

The strange creature has no fur and her skin is gray and was shoot in Lebanon Junction (Kentucky, USA) after she adventured in a man’s yard.

The animal that has long ears, long tail manage to start a debate on internet many saying that this is a mythic creature. Mark Cothren is the man that shoot the creature because he didn’t recognize it and he was intrigued about the way she looks.

“I didn’t manage to understand how an animal with no hair manages to survive in this time of year. I can’t imagine why the creature doesn’t freeze because of the low temperatures!”

The strange thing is a cat size and some are saying that this could be the legendary chupacabra.

People are saying that they sow this before in South America, Mexico, Porto Rico and in some cases even in Texas and Oklahoma.

And speaking about another original marriage proposal, a man chose Facebook to propose to his girlfriend. We let you to decide if this is a good choice or bad.

“Around 30 years ago, my mother was washing dishes when my dad propose her. When I talked to my mother she told me that I must find a better way than my father to ask you to marry me. I am not sure that this is the best one but I hope so. So… Breeze, would you marry me?” this was the message a man posted on his Facebook page as the status option.

The answer came after 5 minutes: “On Facebook? Do you really mean this? This means that you love me even when you are surfing the Web so my answer is yes!”

Very original way to propose I must admit!

Fail Marriage Proposal

A man from Belgium managed to surprise his girlfriend with a marriage proposal right before the Cercle Brugge vs. Standard Liege soccer game.

According to Mirror he managed to surprise his girlfriend very much but sadly not in the right way. The young man made the proposal in front of thousands of people that had come to watch the game. And to make things a little more interesting keep in mind that other thousands were present at home watching the game on TV.

Frank’s girlfriend listened to the speech with no reaction and when the man said ”Would you marry me” she run away like a maniac.

I for once feel bad for the poor man and can’t understand why didn’t she just said yes just to don’t humiliate him and afterwards at home make things right.
