Last night was a great night for boxing. The match between Ricky Hatton and Manny Pacquiao took place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 25,000 fans inside and outsite the MGM Grand Arena were not enough to help Hatton beat the Pacman, instead Pacquiao knocked out the Manchester-based boxer in the second round.
Hatton, coached by Floyd Mayweather, was pale most of the game as Pacquiao put him him down twice in the first round. Hatton eventually lost in the second round by TKO when the clocked showed 2:59. It seemed like Hatton was not ready for this game as Pacquiao was much better than him and he has now become the new IBO light-welterweight champion.
Well, this is not the Ricky Hatton we know, and I would like to see him back in action soon. Hatton didn’t make any comments until now but he should hold a press-conference today.
