Lucy Gordon (not to be confused with the writer), British actress and model of considerable fame, hung herself two days ago, on May 20th 2009. She committed suicide, as is believed at this point with some certainty and probably will remain the verdict. Her 29th birthday would have been today – she killed herself just two days to her anniversary.
Lucy is said to have been devastated emotionally after a close friend in the U.K. committed suicide, and people so far linked this to her gesture. No one expected this to happen, and there was no note or any phone call made in the evening, or at least none were make public at this point of time.

She hung herself in her Paris apartment, her dead body was found at la Rue des Petites Ecuries after her boyfriend alerted a nearby shopkeeper. A local detective
declares: “There were no suspicious circumstances. It appears that the young woman took her own life.” – source: Daily Telegraph Online.“It was an horrific scene. The
young woman had taken her own life in terrible circumstances. We are not seeking anyone else. It was a clear case of suicide.” These are the words of another officer. Source Sky News.Her very last role and piece of work was the film about the singer Serge Gainsbourg in which she played British actress Jane Birkin. Filming were only recently finished, and she accomplished to fully satisfy the producer and director with this last role. T railers for the movie were broadcast at the Cannes Film Festival.
