Alexander Rybak From Norway Wins Eurovision Song Contest

Alexander Rybak at Eurovision

Yesterday, the Eurovision song contest took place in Moscow. The contest was won by Alexander Rybak from Norway with his song called “Fairytale.” Some said that it was the best Eurovision ever, while others claimed that this was the most boring with only a few good songs. A proof for this fact is that the Norway singer received a record of points, 387 , while the runner-up, Yohanna from Iceland, got a mere 218 points. In the third place we could see Aysel and Arash from Azerbaijan who got 207 points.

Alexander Rybak is a native Russian language speaker as he was born in Belarus. He wrote the Fairytale song, he will star in a movie which will be released this summer, and he said that he won because he told a story. People like this kind of songs, but everybody said that he fully deserved it. Rybak has just celebrated his 23rd birthday on May 13, and we have to congratulate him as he is a wonderkid, and probably the most talented singer from this year’s Eurovision.
