Kris Allen Wins American Idol
We are happy to announce you that Kris Allen won the American Idol tonight in a show where everybody highlighted Adam Lambert as the winner and the most talented artist. However, Kris Allen surprised all of us and now the 23-year-old from Conway, Arkansas is the winner of the 8th season of American Idol. Adam Lambert, 26, was dubbed by everyone, even by the judges, as winner and maybe complacency was his problem.
According to the American Idol officials, nearly 100 million votes were cast by the audience which is a record. The last episode of the American Idol 2009 saw Kris Allen in an impressive performance, and left him surprised as he didn’t know that he has so many fans. Allen said that Adam Lambert from San Diego was supposed to be the American Idol winner because he really deserved the title.

When Ryan Seacrest announced the winner, Kris Allen asked the host many times if he is serious, and he didn’t know what the say. Well, just imagine the emotion! Everybody was thinking that Lambert after the Monday shows when both singers performed “No Boundaries.” This song was co-written by judge Kara DioGuardi, and on Monday, Adam did better than Kris, and the judges were preparing the latter for his defeat.
