I’m a classically-trained countertenor, so I have a lot of appreciation for what Adam Lambert does technically, but he’s actually more of a caricature than a genuine artist: The screaming and the histrionic mannerisms come across as pure tackiness, and the whole “rocker without a cause” image that he puts forward is very outdated. And his music videos…well…just start back at the beginning of this paragraph!

It’s all rather sad because if anyone has seen photos of Adam without all that makeup, he’s really a good looking guy–tall, nice build, nice eyes… It’s a shame that he doesn’t let us see who he really is–physically and musically. If he played it a bit more straight that way (no pun intended), he’d have a greater following. As he is right now… no one will remember his name in another year.

kris should win for sure.
adam’s voice is soooooooooooooo annoying and no one will like his album cuz it will all be that abnoixous scream thing he does. EW!
i thought that style died out in the 80′s for christ’s sake.

I want Kris Allen to win, but all 3 years I have been watching American Idol, the person that I want to win looses. First Blake Lewis, then David Archuleta. I have a feeling I will go through it again. I voted for Kris Allen 3 times!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, but the Atom Bomb is ever so slightly trailing Kris Allen in the votes. Absent an upset it looks like Atom will come in second.
