An admirer of Madona was arrested after writing some messages on a sidewalk, at the entrance of a building in New York where the artist has a flat. Al that he wanted was a date with the singer. After this incident, Robert Linhart, a retired fireman at the age of 59, was arrested.

He has to stand under accusation of: vandalism, opposing arrest and possession of weapons. The policeman found in his car a 19 cm icebreaker.

A Manhattan judge established a $20.000 bail out sum.

One of the messages the fireman wroth was: “M, the universe brought us together for the 1^st time in 1992 and then this year at Prague. Go out with me”
