“Proud to be gay!”

David Ogden Stiers admitted in an interview to the GBB blog the truth about his sexuality and afiirmed that he is very proud with his sexual orientation. His only concern until now was that studios are not totally gay friend and decided to stay silent because he could have lost some of his assignments if not. He said that the majority of his income came from voicing Disney or some other family programming and while a more know actor is mainly allowed anything, Studios prefer not to deal with this kind of so called issues with minor players.

David Ogden Stiers is an actor, voice actor and musician, mainly know from the television sitcom M*A*S*H where he played Major Charles Emerson Winchester III and from the science fiction drama The Dead Zone where he played Reverend Gene Purdy. He is also a big fan of classical music and had been the guest conductor for more than 50 orchestras in North America and maintained a position as associate conductor of the Newport Symphony Orchestra and the Ernest Bloch Music Festival.

When he was asked for his opinion about the perfect partner for him, the 66 year old actor said he would have to be both mature and youthful and should have a very good sense of where he is and where his life is heading. He also mentioned that he developed the appreciation of the finer things in life and that he would like his partner to share the same gratitude. While on the physical side, it seems that David prefers a man with developed arms, finding this sort of thing more appealing.
